Renault TRIBER - Modern yet practical 7 seater

Stylish exterior design is no longer the prerogative of only top end vehicles in India. Starting from the lower end, Maruti Suzuki Alto to a Range Rover, all vehicles need to look classy. Creating a good first impression is important, just like in a job interview. With a classy exterior design and a performance to match, the new Renault TRIBER delivers a remarkable first impression. In addition, a host of best-in-class Renault TRIBER specifications surely make the car stand out.
If one takes a look at the exterior design of the TRIBER, modernity clearly reflects in its front grille, fog lamps, and skid plates on the front bumper. This design is a mixture of sturdiness and dynamism. A modern appearance for cars is of massive importance in the Indian automobile industry, where a deliberate old-school design hasn’t quite worked in the past. Remember Fiat Uno, Peugeot 309, and Mahindra Verito? Surprisingly enough, the 309 and Uno turned out to be bestsellers in the world.

Practicality of the TRIBER

Storage space is often a premium in cars under 5 lakh, but the Renault TRIBER has a different story to tell. With 625 L of boot space and other thoughtfully designed storage spaces such as bottle holders in the doors, central console, and two glove boxes, the TRIBER offers a lot more considering its price point.

Adding to the practicality of the TRIBER is its new CMF-A platform. This platform has been created jointly by the company’s Indian and French teams, and is responsible for the car’s excellent ride quality. The platform has been designed keeping in mind the specific needs of an Indian customer, considering most prefer an active lifestyle.

The car comes with two separate EasyFix seats that can be clicked in the 3rd row as per your preference, allowing you to generate 100+ seating combinations. Passengers in the 2nd- and 3rd-row seats get extra headroom by virtue of the car’s unique roof design.

Front fascia

While the front of the TRIBER is illuminated with projector headlamps, its rear comes alive with eagle beak split tail lamps. The stance of this car helps create a generous headroom for passengers in the 2nd- and 3rd-row seats, whereas the roof rails add to the overall contemporary look. Considering it to be a sub-4 metre vehicle, Renault has done a marvelous job of carving out 7 seats.

Rear design

The rear of the TRIBER looks similar to the Renault Megane hatchback, which is a global bestseller. The TRIBER logo is placed between the two tail lamps, which not only makes it easy to identify this car but also gives it a classy appearance.

Considering the overall dimensions, the car appears much larger than the actual Renault TRIBER specifications (see table below):

3990 mm

Safety features

Renault is known for the solid build of its cars. The TRIBER comes with safety features that include ABS + EBD, seat belt reminder for co-driver and driver, remote central locking and rear parking sensors.

For those who like to travel with family or friends, the TRIBER is an excellent vehicle. It offers a complete package: with detachable EasyFix seats for the 3rd row and great legroom and headroom, passengers can comfortably sit and relax, and this comfort is nothing short of luxury!
